Directions for Use:
Before applying brush coat to remove excess dirt or dust. Apply to the hair coat using the spray nozzle or a cloth dampened with Vetsense Flygon GOLD Insecticidal and Repellent Spray. Do not wet skin or apply to point of dripping or exceed 60 mL per application. Only light application is required.
It is best to apply by rubbing against the hair growth. Give special attention to the legs, shoulders, neck, and facial area where flies are most often seen.
For best results, reapply every other day. Also, reapply each time the horse is washed or exposed to heavy rain. Apply on a small area first as some animals may have sensitive skin. Avoid getting the spray in the animal’s eyes, nose, and mouth.
For animal housing, spray the inner walls thoroughly and any other place where flies and insects settle. Re-spray as necessary. Do not apply directly to food or food preparation areas.

Did you know law does not require hidden fillers and sugars to be listed on the equine supplement labels. We GUARANTEE we NEVER use sugars, artificial colours, artificial flavours or poor grade fillers. These hidden fillers are often the cause of 'heating'. Zeolite (silicia) is our only filler every used in any of our range.
Can Flowers Gold be fed alongside other WLS feed supplements?
Flowers Gold is designed to be the core daily minerals and vitamin supplement recommended for all horses. All our other feed supplements are designed to be fed safely and effectively alongside Flowers Gold and each other.
What do I feed with Flowers Gold?
We recommend adding Flowers Gold to the following base feeds (non heating - low in sugar feed and low gI) a mix of copra, cracked lupins, beet-pulp and lucerne chaff - soaked in adequate water to fully expand the likes of beet-pulp and copra. There is no need to feed additional premixes as they likely contain some overlapping nutrients that may throw the careful daily balanced ratios out of Flowers Gold's balanced codependent ratios.
Ad-lib quality lucerne hay and coconut & cod liver oil can be added also.
No extra added salt is necessary, but we do strongly recommend a Himalayan rock salt left in the paddock with 24 hour access.
Adding extra alternative branded minerals can throw off the right balance delivered in Flowers Gold, rendering the uptake less effective.
How much is the 110g?
For a horse over 200kg, feed 2x flat scoops (enclosed 60ml scoops)
Foals and ponies under 200kg feed 1 flat scoop daily.
Can I feed your other supplements with FG?
Yes! Each supplement has been engineered to be safely combined with Flowers Gold (vitamins and minerals for horses) and each other. So yes ALL of our Feed Supplements are organic and chelated (when available) safe to be fed alongside each other.
Is it safe for pregnant mares?
Yes, and also highly recommended to be fed to mares during their gestation. You can feed up to 165g (3 flat scoops) during the last trimester and 3 months post partum/lactating. Also safe for foals and breeding, working horses.

Will it make my horse HOT?
We do NOT fill our supplements with sugar, colours or flavours (like most others). These can cause behavioural problems. We also deliver each mineral in its co-dependent ratios to ensure absolute bio availability (organic & chelated where possible), to meet daily dietary needs and not exceed to any dangerous limits. Excesses can also cause neurological issues.
What should I feed with FG?
Add Flowers Gold to any of these hard feeds (pellets, grains, lupins, copra, beetpulp and chaff). Please be aware NOT to feed additional feed supplements high in Zinc, Copper & Selenium - other than any other Wattlelane Stables supplement that are engineered to be fed safely alongside FG.

WHY CHOOSE RAPIGEL? RAPIGEL promotes a similar effect to an ice pack. RAPIGEL is far more convenient to transport and can be used in situations where ice or cold hosing may be inconvenient or impossible.
Menthol in RAPIGEL is a widely recognised cooling agent when applied to the skin. Menthol is thought to stimulate the nerves that perceive cold and depress those that perceive pain. Specific nerve receptors respond in a similar manner to cold as they do to menthol. The menthol in RAPIGEL is an alternative or an additional aid to traditional cold therapy.
RAPIGEL relieves soreness due to over exertion, fatigue or bruising. Menthol and camphor stimulate the circulation to damaged tissue when applied topically. This decreases the chance of bruises forming when applied early and may assist in the removal of dead blood cells once a bruise has formed.
Menthol and camphor have been used for thousands of years for the relief of pain in many areas of the body. Menthol and camphor, found in RAPIGEL, are part of a group of chemicals known as “counter-irritants” that relieve pain by irritating the sensory nerve endings to alter or offset pain in the underlying muscle or joints served by the same nerves.
Aids in reducing inflammation and swelling. Menthol and camphor have a mild anti-inflammatory effect. This assists in the repair of both acute and chronic joint and tendon injuries.
Acute injuries – reduces the inflammatory response when applied immediately after an injury has occurred. Will also assist the healing process when applied for the duration of the injury by increasing circulation to the affected area.
Chronic injuries – in the case of older or more chronic inflammation menthol and camphor increase circulation and reduce inflammation.
No mess - RAPIGEL does not leave a sticky residue on hands, application sites or bandages. RAPIGEL may actually assist in the removal of residues from bandages or other products.

DOSAGE & DIRECTIONS FOR USE: RAPIGEL should be used at full strength and applied liberally to the affected area and rubbed in gently – both prior to and after exercise workout.
